Bank of America Business Advantage Travel Rewards World Mastercard Introduction

Cardholders earn 3 points per dollar spent on car, hotel or airline travel booked through the Bank of America® Travel Center and 1.5 points per dollar spent on all other purchases, the Bank of America® Business Advantage Travel Rewards World Mastercard® credit card offers simple, solid rewards without an annual fee. The card offers some travel benefits, an introductory APR offer and charges no foreign transaction fees, but apart from these features, it doesn’t offer much else beyond its welcome bonus of 30,000 online bonus points after spending $3,000 in the first 90 days of account opening.

Among the travel coverage benefits the Business Advantage Travel Rewards card offers are travel accident insurance, lost luggage reimbursement, trip cancellation coverage and trip delay reimbursement. While the card includes overdraft protection, online and mobile management tools and $0 fraud liability, the travel benefits are the central additional benefits the card offers. These travel benefits are excellent to see with a card that doesn’t charge an annual fee, but noticeably absent is a collision damage waiver.

The Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card is a cash-back card that earns 1.5% cash back rewards on every business purchase. For those who don’t want travel rewards but still want the simplicity of a flat-rate reward structure, the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card may be a better choice than the Bank of America® Business Advantage Travel Rewards World Mastercard® credit card. With some similar other features, the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card offers a 0% introductory APR for 12 months on purchases, then a 18.49% - 24.49% variable APR applies for purchases and balance transfers. While the Bank of America® Business Advantage Travel Rewards World Mastercard® credit card offers a number of travel-related insurances, the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card only offers an auto rental collision damage waiver, travel and emergency assistance and roadside dispatch. It also offers purchase protection and extended warranty protection. Plus, it also has no annual fee. The Bank of America® Business Advantage Travel Rewards World Mastercard® credit card is the better option for those keen on travel and travel rewards, but the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card is a better primary card for those seeking flexible rewards.

Bank of America® Business Advantage Travel Rewards World Mastercard® credit card vs. U.S. Bank Business Leverage® Visa Signature® Card

The U.S. Bank Business Leverage® Visa Signature® Card charges a $0 Intro Annual Fee for the first year, $95 therafter. The card will earn 5% cash back on prepaid hotels and car rentals booked directly in the Rewards Center, 2% back in the top two categories each month and 1% back per dollar on all other eligible purchases. For those who regularly spend heavily in one or two areas, the U.S. Bank Business Leverage® Visa Signature® Card may work much better than the Bank of America® Business Advantage Travel Rewards World Mastercard® credit card in terms of reward earning, but it’s unlikely to do much else.

The U.S. Bank Business Leverage® Visa Signature® Card may provide a heavy rewards earning opportunity, but it’s light on the extra benefits. The only additional perks of note are no foreign transaction fees, no additional charge for employee cards and a welcome bonus: $750 in rewards after spending $7,500 in eligible purchases within the first 120 days of account opening. We suspect the Bank of America® Business Advantage Travel Rewards World Mastercard® credit card will be the better option for anyone interested in extra perks.
